Rereading:
"Remediation" by Bolter & Grusin.

How come the chapter on Computer Games p. 88-103 suddenly end up discussing porn in video games. None of the other chapters looks on the influence on porn and remediation - except of course in The networked self p. 256-265 in which MUD and pornography is discussed.

Chapters on subjects like digital photography, film, television, www and even virtual reality fail to discuss the influence pornography has on the media.

Considering this chapter on video games, it seems as if while some video games are narrative others are pornographic.

Why video games? Why not media in general!
